This Issue Is Dedicated To Donella Meadows
Donella Meadows, sustainability pioneer, environmental scientist,
writer ( The Limits To Growth and Beyond The Limits ) and for 29 years
taught environmental systems, ethics and journalism to her students at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Professor Meadows, known as
"Dana" to friends and colleagues, was a leading voice in what has
become known as the sustainability movement, an international effort
to reverse damaging trends in the environment, economy and social
systems. Her work influenced hundreds of other academic studies,
government policy initiatives and international agreements.
Her insightful writing appeared most often as a weekly column called
"The Global Citizen," nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1991.
Donella Meadows died Tuesday, February 21, 2001 in New Hampshire
after a brief bout with bacterial meningitis. She was only 59 years old.
Thank you and bless you "Dana" from this and all future generations.
You were one of the most beautiful women ever to set foot on the Earth.

A Unity Of One Percent

Quite an amazing thing happened in the 2000 US Presidential Election.

The people who voted for Ralph Nader formed a unity of one percent.
105,398,663 Voted in the 2000 United States Presidential Election.

2,878,157 Voted for Ralph Nader.
This equals 2.73% of the voters for Ralph Nader.

283,000,000 Was the Election day Population of the United States.
2,878,157 Voted for Ralph Nader.
This equals 1.02% of the total Population of the United States.

A unity of one percent was formed on Election day for Ralph Nader.
Now we must form a unity of one percent to stop our own extinction.

Jim Garrison

Thanks for showing a nine year old boy what he somehow knew since he
was five, and for making the Abraham Zapruder film available to the public.
It is important that we know this history, because we are still up against it.
