Senator Jim Jeffords And A Unity Of One Percent
Republicrat Corporate Fascism And Voting Our Conscience

Until last week, the Republicans controlled all 3 branches of the United
States Federal Government. The Presidency, the Supreme Court, and
both the House of Representatives and the Senate. In the Senate there
are 100 members, and until last week, there were 50 Republicans and
50 Democrats, yet the Republicans remained in control because they
were a majority from the previous session. Then a unity of one percent,
Jim Jeffords, decided to change things by switching parties from being a
Republican Senator from Vermont to being an Independent Senator from
Vermont. Soon it will officially be 50 Democrats, 49 Republicans, and
1 Independent making up the Senate. All it took then was 1 Senator, 1%,
to change the total power structure within the Senate. This will mark the
first time in history this shift of power has happened a inside session.
This will change all 15 Senate committees from the Republicans to the
Democrats. Yet this power shift will only constrain a little of bit of Bush's
fascistic legislative agenda and his dangerously arrogant unilateralism.

Of course there is so little difference between the 2 major parties this
really doesn't matter all that much. The corporations have had every
politician in both the Republican and Democratic Parties bought and
paid for a long time ago. They are the Republicrat Party, all lying puppets
cast by the corporate oligarchy. The sooner the people of the United States
understand this very simple fact, the faster Third Parties like the Green
Party will grow strong and become a formidable threat to the status quo.

Only then will the 49% who didn't see fit to come out and vote in the 2000
presidential race finally see a reason to come out and vote their conscience.
Only then will we start to vote our conscience and vote for someone who
is actually out for the good of all 285 million citizens of the United States,
and the 6.1 billion people who now share this Earth. Only then will we start
to vote our conscience and vote for someone who fully understands that we
must quickly change over to sustainable environmental policies, to leave
our children a habitable Earth. Only then will we have someone who is not
bought and paid for by the corporations, but finally, a truly honest person
of integrity. Only then will we vote our conscience and vote for someone like
Ralph Nader to win back the Presidency for all Americans. Finally putting a
stop to our corporate fascism, and bring democracy back to this Republic.

Star Wars Returns

"Star Wars Returns," a video documentary exposing how the Bush
administration is moving to make space a new arena of war, in violation
of the intent of international law, has just been released by EnviroVideo.

The documentary is being distributed in the U.S. and around the world.
"Star Wars Returns" is narrated and was written by investigative
reporter and journalism Professor Karl Grossman, directed and edited
by Emmy Award-winner Steve Jambeck and produced by Joan Flynn.

It presents U.S. military documents setting forth U.S. plans to "control
space" and from space "dominate" the earth below. It reveals the multi-
billion dollar U.S. development program now underway to produce space-
based laser weapons, and that far more than "missile defense" is involved.
It also details the international opposition to the U.S. Star Wars program.

Stop The U. S. Navy From Deploying Low Frequency Active Sonar ( LFAS )
The National Marine Fisheries Service is now accepting public comments
through May 18, 2001, on whether to grant the Navy's LFAS permit request.
Send a free fax or write them a letter and stop the Navy from deploying
LFAS There is now undeniable evidence that high-power "active" sonar
systems can and do kill marine animals. Analysis of the inner ears of
several dead whales enabled scientists to confirm, for the first time,
the dangerous role of LFAS to a level of certainty that even the Navy
could not ignore. All but one of the whales suffered hemorrhages in
the inner ear, almost certainly the result of a sonic blast.

company A/F Protein's application to sell genetically engineered (GE)
salmon. Urge the FDA not to approve the application because GE fish
